Tacos, Cheerios, and Chicken Fritters, Oh My!

by Sophie Nelson
Is breakfast your favorite meal at Roche Dining Commons? If so, then you’re in luck because Cheerios are back! Yesterday, July 17th at Roche Dining Commons, the cereal Cheerio’s was spotted at 7:45 AM. For most PCCers, this was a great surprise. Along with Cheerio’s other foods have been brought back to the Dining Commons as well.
Monday is known as macaroni and cheese Monday and finally, Tuesday is Taco Tuesday. Last year at PCC, there were tacos for a single lunch. Everyone was ecstatic that tacos were back and hopefully they’ll be here to stay. Tuesday nights are the only night when you can get Chinese food, and people have different opinions on it. “The potstickers are good, but I don’t love anything else,” claimed second year Rebecca Bryson. Like most food in general, not everyone loves it, but some people enjoy it a lot.
Some other meals include chicken fritters and fries, grilled chicken with potatoes, pasta with tomato sauce and alfredo, cereals, burgers, and much more. The food at the dining hall lets you choose from a variety of proteins, greens, and carbs. “The people working are always nice and the steak is so good,” said first year Eoin Gallagher. The dining hall gives students a choice of what they want to eat, and there’s food for all.
Roche Dining Commons is full of surprises and PCCers are excited for more!
