BRINGING IT WITH BASKETBALL

Everyone was on the edge of their seats last afternoon while watching the basketball tournament. Every kid signed up intending to be on the winning team, but only so many can hold that title. All four teams were lead to the courts for the riveting games. The first game was between Mr. Rego’s Green team and Ms. Brain’s Red team. The competition started off with a 2–0 lead for Mr. Rego’s team, but you can never count Ms. Brain out. The Red team came out victorious.

Next came with Blue vs. Yellow team. This was an exciting game full of twists and turns! Everyone was biting their fingernails when the score got into the double digits. Mr. LaPointe’s team eventually won the game to advance to the finals.

Finally the day has come. The basketball finals. Ms. Brain’s team (Red) was getting ready to face off with Mr. LaPointe’s team (Blue). The Blue team was taking the lead for the majority of the time. The Red team had to take time to gather themselves. Towards the end, with a lot of hard work, Ms. Brain’s team WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP! Though Mr. LaPointe’s team tried their best, the final score of 19–16 truly showed who the best basketball players on campus are. Congratulations to the Red team!!!!!
