GO FORTH AND RECREATE!
by Rebecca Bryson and Sophia Kyranos
Everyday from 2:30-5:00 PCC students and staff have the choice to go the Quad or Duffy room 120 to have some fun at Rec.
Depending on the day, different activities are held for students to have a blast. Some classic outdoor rec events include: Mr. Leonard’s Yoga, Big Red Ball, Drip Drip Drop, 4-Square, volleyball, soccer, and Jibitz trading.
To beat the heat, some indoor rec events include Egyptian Rat Tail, bracelet making, beady buddies, and sing alongs.
Although it is enjoyable to participate in those activities you can also sit on the Quad and hang with old friends or make new ones.
Even though it is encouraged to go to Rec, you don’t have to. You can stay back in your dorm and socialize.
It is arguable that Mr. Leonard’s yoga is THE best recreational events of all time. During this event, you grab a mat, sit in the shade, and prepare for an unforgettable trip to find your “inner serenity.” This activity will have you laughing until the sun goes down.
You cannot debate that Rec is one of the most fun parts of the PCC. The day will never be complete without hearing a proctor scream, “Go forth and recreate!”
