GET DUNKED ON

On July 24th on the Stonehill Campus, if you ventured to the dunk tank at the carnival, you would find Gianna Messia and Ms. Brainard.

Ms. Brainard was sitting at the dunk tank when Gianna was at the front of the line. The people before her missed the bright red target, but things were about to unexpectedly change.

As a bystander, it felt as if everything was going in slow motion. Not a drop of water was on Ms. Brainard when suddenly, Gianna threw the ball. The bright yellow softball struck the red target on the spot. The seat dropped from underneath Ms. Brain and she got soaked.

Everyone who witnessed it went crazy as Ms. Brainard climbed out of the dunk tank. She was a good spirit about it, though. “I felt refreshed. I really enjoyed it,” she reported back to us.

With all of the crazy stuff going on at the carnival, this event truly topped the day off.
