THEATRE SHOW PASSES "TEST" WITH FLYING COLORS

by Jenna Carson

On August 9th, 2017, the students in the Theatre class put on a sensational performance to help wrap up week six of the PCC program. The play that they did was called This is a Test. Each student had their own role; Marissa Skulsky as Ms. Skulsky, Karissa Davis as Karissa, Lauren Harrington as Lauren, Morgan Whalstorm as Voice 1, Megan Riley as Voice 2, Maya Fontaine as Maya, Chloe Valliere as Chloe, and Kerin Dalton as the Mother and a student.

The play was about a girl, Lauren, who doesn’t study for a big test, and faces the consequences. Comedy was added into it when the students around her begin to exchange answers and the teacher doesn’t notice until it’s Lauren who needs answers. The voices, Morgan and Megan, each narrate different memories and answers from the test for the audience to give us a sneak peek of what was going on inside Lauren’s head.

All in all, their performance was fantastic. The audience was on their feet at the end for a standing ovation. Congrats to everyone that was in the play; you did a great job.
