THE RIDE CONTINUES ON

As the summer progresses, the roller coaster ride that is PCC continues. In an analogy, PCC can be closely compared to a roller coaster. Week 1 is at the very bottom; some people are nervous, some are excited, and some are ready for a new adventure as the ride takes off. Week 2 moves the rollercoaster up the hill. This is when students start to feel more comfortable and begin getting closer with other PCCers. By Week 3, everyone is completely settled in. However, some do not realize that this is the top of the roller coaster, the halfway point of PCC. Week 4 is the week PCCers start to create deep connections with others after the roller coaster ride starts to roll down the track. This year, there is the added shock as this is also the week that the four-week students get ready to leave for the summer. Week 5 rushes down the track, nearing the end at a faster rate. But when Week 6 comes around, the speed kicks up another notch. Again, similar to a roller coaster, Semi-formal and the Weeper slow down the course of PCC, to end it off on Move-Out Day. Life is a roller coaster, and PCC is no exception; this summer is a wild ride.
