CONTINUING TO MARCH TO A DIFFERENT BEAT IN 2019
by Makayla Sturgeon
Another summer, a brand new chance to restart and continue on making endless memories at the most magical place on Earth. It feels just like yesterday I was packing up my dorm room and hugging my friends goodbye. But now I am back and moving into my dorm and hugging my friends. As a second year, the majority of things are the same, but some things have changed (which was obviously expected.) There are some new proctors, and some proctors didn't come back. There are different floor colors and floor leaders with new floor themes. There is also a brand new building on campus at Stonehill-the new Welcome Center. So many classes are located there and a majority of the Core Courses have been there in the auditorium. As a second year here it feels weird to be back and to be making new friends and memories. I have set some goals for myself to be more open and outgoing and less shy like I was my first year. I also want to take every chance I get this summer to be the best version of myself. I missed this place a lot after I left last summer. It has become like a second home to me. Being a second year I kind of know what is going to happen and I already understand what PCC is all about. It feels nice to be in the know and there are still some surprises I don't know about-because that is what PCC is all about. And I am looking forward to it all and another summer of a lifetime.
