PCC SHOWS ITS SPIRIT AT THE WEEK THREE DANCE
by Beth Pennington
Week 3 Day 4 was the PCC Spirit Dance. Everyone was decked out in their school colors while others took towards their creative side and dressed up as college graduates and even students from Hogwarts's! On the quad, students gathered with their hometowns to get a group picture. Then they all followed their proctors to Alumni Hall to start the dance festivities. PCC players performed the classic skit "Tight Pants" featuring Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Ryan, as well as the Chariots of Fire sketch and the classic Cake Skit--now with added spirit.
Then it was time for the game shows. Halls battled it out in a game of Limbo as they got lower and lower, attempting to "out-limbo" each other. There were games of musical chairs and timed challenges to complete the game show portion of the evening. The students were all excited and ready for the dancing to begin. Friends danced the night away to songs like "Old Town Road" and "Mr. Brightside." The music continued late into the evening until it was time for the theme dance, as well as the classics "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" and "American Pie." As the last melody played through the speaker, PCC students grabbed posters representing their towns off the walls and left the dance with laughter and joy.
