Put the Croc in your Walk!

by Sophie Nelson and Eoin Gallagher

It started out as a small friend group that walks with iconic crocs. Today, the last running club of the season brought 15 students in total that participated in the croc walk. The route takes about 30 minutes and it is half a mile. Led by Ms. Barnoski or Ms. Martino, or even by themselves, students fasten their adventure straps and head out in a pack.

The croc walk starts approximately at 6:15 am and ends around 6:40 am. Students walk slowly around campus admiring the nature and listening to music. Today the music played was Taylor Swift songs, including “22” and “Look What You Made Me Do”

The last running club was very special and sentimental, everyone didn’t cry. “It was a treacherous journey and then I passed by the croc walk and they cheered me on, so my life is okay” said runner, Faith Jordan. The croc walk is always supportive and encourages everyone. The final part of the croc walk is the meditation circle. It was a spooky circle for Haunted Hills. The circle is a regular thing, but today was special.

Running club and the last croc walk was a success and a beautiful thing.
