I'm With the Band Stuns the Crowd
by Eoin Gallagher
Last night in the Pettit Atrium, the I’m With The Band class put on an incredible show! They displayed their musical talents on a big stage with colorful lights, big speakers, and tons of microphones. It was truly a big performance.
The show started out strong with “Victorious" by Panic! At The Disco. Students who weren’t playing an instrument or singing during a song would be running up and down the aisles, hyping up the crowd. Performers would even switch instruments for certain songs. After Victorious, Warped Refraction (the band’s chosen name) played “Song 2” by Blur. The complete set list includes “Dreams” by The Cranberries, “Do I Wanna Know” by The Arctic Monkeys, “Everlong” by The Foo Fighters, “I Wanna Get Better” by The Bleachers, “Come Together” by The Beatles, “99 Red Balloons” by Nena, “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet, “Believer” by Imagine Dragons, “Fight Song” by Rachel Platton, “Dance To The Music” by Sly and the Family Stone, and to end off the night, they played “Vacation” by The Go-Go’s. The band had everybody bopping and moving in their seats. This performance was definitely one to remember.
