PCC CARNIVAL TONS OF FUN

By Anna Hoksbergen

On Monday, July 17th after Downtime, there was a big surprise for the PCC students. People got excited and curious; this wasn’t like how ‘normal’ REC usually went. What could it be? Everybody started walking and nobody had any idea of what the surprise could possibly be. Everybody was trying to figure it out. I bet you tried too. Did you guess it right? I certainly didn’t.

So what happened was we followed the proctors on our Monday-almost-hike to what we now know was the Carnival. We had our own PCC Carnival! It was on a sports field on the other side of campus. There was music, cotton candy, snow cones, and water. (It was really hot on the field so we had to stay hydrated.) Besides food and snacks there were a lot of others things to do like getting your face painted, throwing balls at the dunk tank (which had proctors on/in it), or like just going off to do some sponge painting. If you were really hot (and I mean, who wasn’t?) You could go cool off and get really soaked on the slip and slide. If you didn’t want to get wet there were so many other (ball)games that you could go and play.

Tons of fun for tons of probably mostly sunburned PCC students and proctors!
